Naomi’s March Sampler is a small set of host-picked pairings to enjoy while Whisky High Notes gets ready to launch.
This one is just me, Naomi, the host. No guest, no interview. Just four pieces I felt perfectly matched with four drams from my home collection, as a bit of listening fun while we get ready to release Episode 1.

Max Richter’s Recomposed project takes Vivaldi’s original material and rebuilds it using a minimalist lens. The result keeps the recognisable “Spring” outlines, but adds loops, soft electronics and a modern sense of propulsion.
In concert, Richter’s recomposed Four Seasons was premiered in the UK at the Barbican in 2012 (Britten Sinfonia, André de Ridder, Daniel Hope).
Why I paired: IAs the whisky is clean and bright I felt this music is also somehow timeless and clean if perhaps soneties a little too well travelled
Key details: This is a Speyside single malt at 40% ABV, built around The Glenlivet’s classic smooth, fruity profile, with a cask mix that includes American first-fill casks for extra creamy sweetness.
